All About Me
Hello! This is my first post so I thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Aubrey, and I am a marketing and public relations major here at Ohio Northern University. I am from Kenton, Ohio, which is about a twenty-to-thirty-minute drive from Ada. I've grown up going to Ada my whole life since my dad and my older sister are both ONU alumni. Another fun fact is that my twin goes to school here too, but she is a bio major. I am the youngest in my family, (is anyone else?) so I have three older sisters. I promise it's not as terrible as it sounds.
Here is a picture of all of us when we went to Alabama over fall break. I wish I were there now since it's so cold here. My one sister (in the red) is also married. They got married this spring and planning a wedding was lots of fun!I also have a dog named Gatsby. He's kinda spoiled. He turns seven this year, I think.
Before I came to ONU, I graduated high school from Kenton, and I was involved in probably too many things. I participated in my school's BPA club, which is a professional organization where we could do different competitions in business related fields. It's what made me want to do business here at ONU. I also ran cross country and track, and I swam on my school's swim team. I did golf for a couple years, but I realized I only really liked riding in the cart, so my golfing career didn't last very long.
I also worked at the coffee shop in Kenton. It's called Scooters if you want to check it out! In the summer, I also worked as a junior swim coach for my local team. I think coaching or teaching others about something you're passionate about is fun and a good experience. Except for when it rains and the pool gets muddy.
Here at ONU, I work in the Dean of Engineering's Office. It's cool and I get to work on my accounting skills that I hopefully won't use too often if I can help it. I'm also a part of the PRSSA club and a few others. If anyone has any club recommendations that are outside of business, I think it would be fun to join a non-business focused club and meet people from other majors.
Well, that's it for now! I hope it wasn't too boring. <3

Hey Aubrey! I had no idea you were a twin until you shared that in class, how cool! I'll definetly have to check out Scooters. Best of luck this semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Aubrey! Your dog is so cute, I have a couple of Pitbull's myself and they are very spoiled too. I think that may be a dog thing though. I hope you find a club that is fun and meet new people because you may find some people that you really click with that you never thought you would! Have a good semester!
ReplyDeleteHi Aubrey! I am also the youngest of my family, although I only have one older sister, I can't imagine having three! I definitely wish I were in Alabama or at least somewhere warmer right now, too. The negative degree weather isn't doing it for me right now. Good luck this semester!
ReplyDeleteHey Aubrey! I loved getting to know about you and your life! Your dog and family is so cute! You seem like you stay busy and have a good time. I hope the rest of the school year goes well!!
ReplyDeleteHi Aubrey! Although I already know you, I enjoyed getting to learn more about you and your life! I think that it's great that you have been and are involved in several different clubs/organizations. Driving golf carts is also my favorite part about golf!
ReplyDeleteHi Aubrey, does it count that you're the youngest if we are Twins? Anyway, Gatsby is definitely spoiled but he just looks so cute, so what are we to do. The trip to Alabama was so fun, I am glad we went as a family!
