End of The Semester Stress

The time has come to begin getting serious about final exams and final projects. With only a couple more weeks left in the semester, everything is due in the next few weeks, whether it be a final project or finishing club work; it seems like everything needs to be done all at once. With six classes, I thought it would be a breeze, since my first semester, with five classes, was not bad at all. What I did not realize when I signed up for 18 credit hours was that now, in my second semester of college, I would be much more involved, have plans to meet with friends, a job to work at and harder classwork. As finals approach, I am realizing all the projects I still need to finish and tests I need to study for, and I am, for once in my life, wishing I had more weeks left in the school semester.

Many of my classes thankfully do not have final exams, but in lieu of a final exam, I have multiple final projects to finish. I am so glad to be done with my Ethical Leadership project, and now I am on my Business Analytics and Principles of Accounting group projects. My Business Analytics project is pretty good, and our presentation is almost finished. We are presenting on Apple’s new iPhone and its promotion strategy. However, my Principles of Accounting group project has had a few challenges. Accounting is not my strongest suit, and since our class is entirely online, that has made finishing group assignments much more difficult. But the professor is very helpful, and I am very grateful that our last project is to be done on our own, so I can work at my own pace and not have to worry about motivating other members to finish their parts.
Besides school assignments and exams, many of the clubs are winding down or hosting final meetings for the semester. Because I am starting a new club, I am trying to finish up getting the club approved and set up so that next semester we can host meetings and attend competitions. Starting a new club was much more intense than I realized, but I am super excited to finish up the last few stages of approval, hopefully before the end of the semester.
